A prayer of Praise and Thanksgiving
Ever Thankful for You, Oh Lord!
Ever Thankful for You, Oh Lord!
Thank you, that I dwell in the shelter of You, Lord, Most High, and find perfect rest in rest in the shadow of You, Almighty God! Thank you, LORD that You, alone, are my refuge, my peace, my fortress, and place of safety! You are my God, and I trust in You!
I give You all praise and honor because You, Oh LORD watch over me, and can rescue me from every trap. You cover me with your feathers because You are compassionate, and You shelter me with your wings because You are strong. When I draw close to You, Oh Lord, I find a great refuge in the truth of your faithfulness, which is my amour & protection from every snare set around me, and anything that comes against me.
Thank you, God, that I do not have to be afraid of the arrows that assault me in the day, the terrors in the night or any diseases encamped nearby me. Though thousands fall around me, I am safe with You, because You, Oh Lord, are always faithful. Thank you, Lord, for being my shield against every danger.
Thank you, LORD, that You, watch over me and my family. Help me, Oh Lord, to sense, and realize your presence when I am weary and afraid. Help me to see your pathways and lean on your steadfast love in deeper ways every day. You are my dwelling place, Oh Lord Most High, no evil can come near my soul, and you keep plagues and disasters away.
I praise You, Lord, for sending your angels protect me and lift me up when I stumble on the stones of life. I can walk in the most threatening of places and trample all foes, and trials beneath my feet because You are with me. I love You, Lord, and my strength is in You, alone, Oh LORD.
Thank you, Lord, that You come when I need You, and will rescue and protect me. Thank you, Lord, for I know, You, will answer me when I pray, and are with me in all my troubles. Thank you, Lord for the life You give me now, and for the eternal life You will give me forever. My soul will always be satisfied with You and all that You give me! I greatly delight and rejoice in my salvation, and I am ever thankful for You, Oh Lord! Amen.
