Ever Thankful Prayer
Ever Thankful for You, Oh Lord! Thank You, that we dwell in the shelter of You, LORD Most High, and find perfect rest in the shadow of your protection, Almighty God!
Thank You Lord, that You alone are my refuge, my peace, my fortress and my place of safety! You are my God, and I trust in You!
I give You all praise and honor because You, Oh LORD, watch over me, and rescue me from every trap. You cover me with your feathers because You are compassionate, and You shelter me with your wings because You are strong. When I draw close to You, I have a refuge in the truth of your faithfulness which is my armor and shield against all that would come against me.
Thank you, Lord, that I do not have to be afraid of the arrows that fly against me in the day, the terrors that may lurk around me in the night, and any diseases that may come my way. Though thousands fall around me, I am safe with You, because You, Oh Lord are faithful, and I give thanks to You.
Thank you, Lord, that You, protect me and my family. Help me, Oh Lord to see and sense your presence when I am weary and afraid. Help me to trust in your guidance and lean on You, in every way. You are my dwelling place, Oh Lord Most High, no evil can come near my soul and You, keep plagues and disasters away.
I praise You, Lord, for sending your angels to protect me and lift me up when I stumble on the stones of life. I can walk in the most threatening of places and trample all foes and problems beneath my feet, because You are with me. I love You; Lord and I trust in your Name.
Thank you, Lord, that You come when I need You, and will rescue and protect me. Thank you, Lord, for I know, that You will answer me when I pray, and are with me in all my troubles. Thank you, Lord, for the life You give me, now and forever more. I am grateful that my soul will always be satisfied with You, and all that You give me. My heart delights in You, and it rejoices in my salvation, and I am ever thankful for You, Oh Lord! Amen!
