A Psalm 23 Prayer

Lord, You are my Shepherd. You have given me all I need. You let me rest in green meadows. You lead me to beside peaceful bubbling streams. You renew my strength.

Lord, thank you that you guide me along the right paths, so that I may bring honor to your name.

When I walk through the darkest valleys, I do not have to be afraid for you are always close beside me.

You protect and comfort me with your rod and your staff.

I can come to You and You prepare a feast for me, even when my enemies pursue me. I am blessed as You honor me by anointing my head with oil. Thank you, that my cup overflows with blessings.

I trust You, Lord, that your goodness and unfailing love with follow all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of You, Lord forever. Amen! SMM

A Psalm 23 Prayer

Come Lord Jesus as my Good Shepherd! Take me to the peaceful meadows of your presence where my soul can truly rest. Nourish me again with the gentle stream of your living water!

Restore again my heart, mind and strength with your grace.

Whatever darkness, anxieties and heaviness that threaten to overpower me ... come and guide me through those valleys with the rod of your direction and the staff of your unwavering love which brings comfort and steadfast assurance.

Thank you, Lord for the abundance of your endless blessing which is like an endless banquet even amid my enemies. Let the oil of your anointing flow over me, again and again.

Thank you, dear Lord, my Shepherd, for your indescribable goodness to me and your endless mercies which are mine, all the days of my life on this earth until I come into your house forever and ever. Amen! SRM
