The Indescribable and The Unsearchable, Unfathomable God
Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is [so vast and profound as to be] unsearchable [incomprehensible to man] (Amplified Bible, Psalm 145:3).
No words can begin to describe the indescribable pageantry and majesty of colors in the thousands of species of trees around us. No amount of admiration can begin to appreciate the thousands of variations and nuances that can be seen in the leaves of a single tree standing stately in front of us. Yet, there are myriads of created things given to us on earth as beauty for our pleasure and to honor and bring glory to our Creator God.
All that we see is but the tiniest minuscule of all mathematical factions of all that was created by the Creator God incomprehensible in the vastness of His attributes, majesty, and glory. Beyond all that exists around us, all that we cannot see in the heavenly realms, all that is and all that is not seen … is the Creator God who created us and redeemed us and thus is knowable and longs for an ever-unfolding and deeper relationship with us through Christ and the Holy Spirit. To realize this truth, should stagger us to simply lay down all that we have and all that we are; to simply worship Him. All those in the heavenly realms are doing so even now, we can do no better than to join them in humble but joyous praise.
The twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” (English Standard Bible, Revelation 4:10-11)
