The Christ Child comes as light shinning in the shadows, a warmth beckoning through the cold, a myriad of color dancing in the moment, a fullness for all season and a new life midst the dying. Jesus came as God’s loving favor and He is forevermore: our peace when we cannot understand, our comfort in the icy piercings of distress and loneliness, an unfolding enhancing in every occasion by His presence. He is even now tenderly interceding on our behalf before the Father and through His Holy Spirit, He is covering us with a grace empowering love which is steadfast, true and fixed upon us, all the days of our lives until He tenderly carries us into eternity.
