Connection Classes: Winter 2008
Interested in pursuing spiritual growth?
Check out the Connection classes offered this spring. You’ll find a class almost any night of the week – and there are even some during the day. Classes are open to both members and non-members of Christ Church. You are asked to register in advance of the first class meeting and strive to attend the entire series of classes. When you see the cost – it is only for a book that is necessary for the class – and something that you get to keep after the class is over.
If possible, please sign up on the sheets in Scripture Hall in advance of the class.
Note: A nursery is provided for children six-year-olds and younger.
Disciple Classes
There are a number of classes where your Bible is the main text and you receive a significant work book, with additional reading and study questions. These classes, already in progress, extend over a 30-week period. Please click here to read more information about these special offerings.

Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend's Boundaries:
When to Say "Yes" When to Say "No" to Take Control of Your Life
Have you ever sat down at the end of the day and counted all the times you said "yes" when you wanted to say "no," let other people make choices for you, had something you really wanted to say, but said nothing, or let something happen that you should have and could have stopped? Do you believe that asserting yourself and standing up for what is important to you is selfish and unchristian, and you feel guilty just thinking about it? If these statements describe you at home or at work, with your spouse, your children, your parents, your friends, your church, then you are not alone. The BOUNDARIES study will show you the biblical basis for personal boundaries and how setting limits helps you develop strong, positive, and loving relationships with the people around you, yourself, and with God.
